What Scott Counseling is Not

Scott Counseling is not meant to take the place of therapy. It is important to recognize that many adolescents and parents may need to meet face-to-face with a trained professional for counseling sessions that may include, but not be limited to psychotherapy or emergency services for crisis interventions. Any child or adult who is experiencing suicidal tendencies need to contact their medical doctor immediately. Scott Counseling does not provide emergency services. This service is not designed to take the place of specific therapeutic counseling services recommended by your medical doctor. Scott Counseling recognizes the importance to face-to-face communication with a trained counselor in that it provides immediate feedback that may comes from a client’s body language or other responses observed by a clinical counselor.

Scott Counseling is a reputable service that places a special emphasis on helping you become a skilled and successful parent. Our goal, as an online service, is to uphold the highest ethical standards while responding to your questions and assisting you in finding a solution that is challenging you and your adolescent.
