The dictionary definition of sexting involves…”the act of sending sexually explicit messages or photos electronically, primarilty between cell phones.”  One study done by CosmoGirl shared results that indicated that 20% of teens between the ages of 13-19 have shared nude or semi-nude pictures of themselves online or through texting.  Over half the females involved in sexting shared that they “did so” due to pressure from male friends.
